BMW has priced the all-new 2011 BMW 528i sedan at $45,425. Based on the 6th-generation 5 Series, the 528i is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder making 240 hp and 230 lb-ft of torque. These figures represent improvements of 10 hp and 30 lb-ft over the previous-generation 528i.
Though the Volkswagen Phaeton -- the brand's range-topping, understated luxury sedan -- disappeared from the United States market in 2006, never actually died.
